The City School Rahim Yar Khan

Welcome to The City School

Established in  Rahim Yar Khan in 2004, The City School is today one of the largest private school networks in Pakistan with branches in all the major cities across the country. It currently has 192 schools in 52 cities with over 60,000 students and 8000 employees.
The City School continues to expand its reach to meet the demands for quality education. The knowledge and skills-based curriculum derived from the UK national curriculum guides students from Nursery to Cambridge International Examinations (for the 16 and 18 year age group), qualifying them for the IGCSE, and O and A Level examinations.
The uniform implementation of the curriculum gives parents, students, and teachers the advantage of a smooth and efficient transfer from one school to another within the system.

Asalamoalaikum
Welcome to the Year 2015-2016!! The new school year presents an opportunity to refocus on the importance of setting high goals and striving towards achieving them.  Our mission at The City School is to create an academic institution that provides a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.
In order to foster a close-knit school community, we aim to engage parents extensively and make them an important part of their child’s progress.  By streamlining our communication, a better parent-teacher-student interaction would be possible.
Our last year’s O Level Result of 11 A* and 25 As provides  compelling evidence of our many strengths and helped us identify areas for improvement.  With its main focus on academics, the school is conscious of the significance of extra curricular activities and the role they play in the grooming of a child.  For this reason, 2015-2016 will see a marked enhancement in students’ reading and comprehension abilities.  DEAR or, Drop Everything And Read, is geared towards instilling healthy reading habits.  Further, reinforcement and regular monitoring of Numeracy skills will help identify weak areas in Mathematics at all levels.  This year is filled with exciting projects, competitions and activities including the Language and Art Week, Quiz Competitions, Art Exhibition, Drama Night, Inter-house sports Day and so forth.
We welcome parents and encourage them to be involved in their child’s progress.
Here’s  to a prosperous new academic year!!
