International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest 2017
The students of The City School continuously participate in different competitions at International level. These are the certificate holder students from International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest 2017. Mrs. Ambreen Ali, HM TCS RYK, awarding certificates to all the students. At the end, Mr. Jahanzaib Zaryab, the organizer of the test and Ms. Ambreen Ali, received appreciation certificates from #IKMC.
Teaching table manners to students is an important aspect of personality development. The students learnt table manner through poster making which depicted different table manners. Students of pre-juniors utilize junk material to make different objects and learnt the concept of recycling.

The activity was full of celebration and offered a chance for children to dress up as their favourite characters and played games linked to their favourite stories.
In our understanding word respect is interchangeable with the word appreciation. So, certificates and gifts given to our brilliant students Zoha Tariq class 6 and Tabeer Zahra class 5 for remarkable work on assignment regarding Labour Day. We are so proud of you! Congratulations!

House System Annual Party
The City School recognizes achievements in many ways. We celebrated students’ citizenship and creativity, academics and attendance. House party held during break time. Students brought food items with them to share with their friends and teachers. People respecting others (PRO) certificates given to deserving students for their efforts throughout the year.
Farewell 2017
After completion of this academic year, time will come when class 11 have to say good bye to teachers and friends. So we gave farewell to each other to wish great life ahead.
Spring Festival and Ghazal Night
Spring is special time of the year and as tradition The City School has organized an event to celebrate a time of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. This event was a cultural mela of food, dresses, dances, happiness, blissful colours and music. “Shame-e Ghazal” was a great part of this event for our music lovers, featuring prominent local musicians from the town.

Trophies were given to the winning house (Blue House) and the runner up house (yellow House).
Debate Competition (Classes 3-9)
An English debate competition was held among the four houses in three categories: Classes 3-5 (Are celebrities bad role models?- serious) Classes 6-7 (How to look intelligent – humorous) Class 8-9 (five sure-to-impress-excuses for not handing in homework-humorous)
Inter House Debate Competition
The City School has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective in view, the school organized a debate competition for the students of class 3 to 8. The topic of the debate was- ‘Parents are responsible for children behavior’. The representatives of the various houses spoke vehemently on the issue and came up with their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand. The students of Class 3 till Class 8, who were an audience to the show, thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Certificates Distribution Ceremony(Green Living Association)
The City School Rahim Yar Khan distributed certificates among its students for taking part in different co-curricular activities on Friday 7th April, 2017. Activities included Green Living Quiz and Sci-fun. Mam Ambreen Ali gave away the certificates to the little gems of The City School. On this occasion she congratulated the students for actively participating in such activities and motivated them to show their best through such platforms.
